Mumbai: Smartphone manufacturers OPPO have announced the launch of OPPO Neo 7, a new successor to the popular mirror-backed Neo 5.

The Neo 7 is an affordable smartphone priced at Rs 9,990 and will be available in India by the end of this week. One of the distinctive traits of this handset is its shining mirror surface and streamlined design.

The Device features a 5-inch IPS display at a resolution of 960X540 pixel, which is a little substandard. The Neo 7 runs on Color 2.1 OS. In terms of performance, the device is powered by a Qualcomm MSM8916 1.2GHz processor along with 1GB RAM and 16GB ROM. The handset offers dual SIM slots and SD card storage support up to 128GB. The 2420mAh battery is decent and serves the purpose of an average user.

The OPPO Neo 7 uses an 8MP rear-illuminated sensor with a good f/2.0 aperture and an upgraded 5MP front camera with myriad features for clicking HD selfies. Equipped with the Pure Image 2.0+ imaging platform, the new device contains a wide range of plug-ins for customized camera functionality.
