Kangana, Hrithik, Abhishek, Sidharth, Alia and many more A-listers attend MAMI Festival

 

Mumbai: The 17th edition of the MAMI Film Festival, in Mumabi, saw some of the biggest and brightest stars in Bollywood, come together to celebrate films. The star studded event had a number of Bollywood A-listers like Kangana Ranaut, Hrithik Roshan, Abhishek Bachchan, Sidharth Malhotra, Alia Bhatt, Katrina Kaif and Anil Kapoor to name a few. Bollywood’s power couples like Siddharth Roy Kapoor and Wife Vidya Balan, Javed Akhtar and Shabana Azmi, Irrfan Khan and Sutapa Sikdar walked the red carpet hand-in-hand.

 

 A sting of directors and producers like ‘PK’s Rajkumar Hirani, Vidhu Vinod Chopra, Queen’s Vikas Bhel, Anurag Kashyap, Ayan Mukerji, Kiran Rao and Homi Addajania also made their presence felt at the event. 

 

The event also saw Indian industrials; the Ambanis who tagged their entire family along to red carpet. Also in attendance was Parmeshwar and hubby Adi Goddrej. 

 

The 17th edition of Jio MAMI Mumbai Film Festival, which began today, promises to offer art and glamour in right proportion. As many as 13 films are competing in the Best Film category. The winning film will get an investment of Rs.50 lakh from Drishyam Films to support its distribution, sales and festival management.

 

In a new section called Half Ticket, exclusively for children, the most outstanding and imaginative live action, animation and documentary features and shorts from across the world will compete for children's jury awards.

 

At the event, several actors, directors and producers said that that they are happy with the responce and quality of work put up at the festival and that they were happy to extend their full support.
