Filmmaker Sundar C, who started the ghost films trend in K’town in recent times with his blockbuster Aranmanai, is coming out with yet another horror comedy Hello Naan Paei Pesuren. This time around, he has stuck to production only, leaving the directorial department to Bhaskar of Naalaya Iyakkunar fame. “The whole story revolves around a ghost which comes out of a mobile phone and how it terrorises all the characters including Vaibhav, Aishwarya and Oviya forms the crux,” Bhaskar says. But no actor plays a ghost here, he adds.

While Vaibhav plays an unemployed youth, Aishwarya plays a telemarketing girl, who will also be seen falling in love with Vaibhav. “The movie has horror moments, as well as an equal amount of comic elements. It is a fun-filled entertainer,” Bhaskar tells us. Quiz him on how Sundar C roped him in, and he replies, “He was one of the judges for the popular Naalaya Iyakkunar programme on a TV channel. Being a humour specialist, he was very impressed with my hilarity in the short films. Later, when I completed the script of Hello Naan Paei… I met Sundar sir. He liked it instantly,” Bhaskar concludes.
