Bengaluru: Chief Minister, Siddaramaiah on Thursday directed Youth Congress workers to fight the RSS, Bajrang Dal and other fringe elements claiming they were trying hard to incite violence across the country.

“I have come here to give you a specific direction to react sharply to the violent activities unleashed by the BJP, RSS, Bajrang Dal and other such organisations. You have to take this message across the state and fight these elements,” Mr Siddaramaiah said while addressing the general body meeting of Karnataka Pradesh Youth Congress held here on Thursday.

The BJP has a hidden agenda which is detrimental to the country’s integration. “Their agenda has no scope for the OBC, minority and Dalit communities. They are not inclusive. Therefore, they are dangerous,” he said.

The BJP is anti-reservation. “When the Congress brought the 73rd amendment to the Constitution, Rama Jois (BJP leader) went to the Supeme Court challenging the decision. The BJP did not stop him. Recently, the RSS chief raised the issue of revisiting the reservarvation system” he said.

He took a dig at Prime Minister, Narendra Modi saying he could at best be a good marketing man. “He failed to deliver the promises made during the parliament elections.” The CM said.
