V Mala, 42, a house wife, and her friend Chennapillappaya, 48, both residents of Kaikondanahalli, were heading towards home after finishing their prayer in a nearby church when the mishap took place. Investigations reveal that the two pedestrians were walking near Kasuvanahalli when the Tata Manza car which was being driven in a negligent manner knocked down the two pedestrians and subsequently ran over them before turning upside down, said the police.
