Ex-judge of Karnataka, Madras High Courts Jayasimha Babu passes away
Court staff rushed him to the general hospital

Chennai: Jayasimha Babu, a former judge of the high courts of Karnataka and Madras, died on the Madras high court campus on Saturday. He was 73. He suffered cardiac arrest while conducting proceedings in Alternate Dispute Resolution centre on Saturday.
After his retirement in 2004, Jayasimha Babu, a native of Karnataka, worked in Customs, Excise and Service Tax Appellate Tribunal, New Delhi. Subsequently, he stayed in his residence in Bengaluru and visited various places to conduct proceedings in the ADR mechanism. He had worked as an arbitrator in Nani Palkhivala Arbitration Centre.
He developed giddiness when the proceedings was on and collapsed immediately. Court staff rushed him to the general hospital. However, doctors declared him brought dead.
