Car companies see robust sales in October

New Delhi: Car companies witnessed robust sales in October thanks to the start of festival season. India’s largest carmaker Maruti Suzuki India (MSI) domestic sales surged by 24.7 per cent in October 1,21,063 units as against 97,069 units in October last year. “With new models and product refreshments, we are upbeat on festival season. This is our highest-ever domestic and total sales number,” said MSI ED, marketing and sales R.S. Kalsi. Honda Cars India registered a growth of 52 per cent with monthly sales of 20,166 units in October 2015.
