Class X girl raped by inter boy

Hyderabad: A Class X girl student was raped by a 16-year-old boy, while one of his friends helped him commit the crime, at Kandukur village in Nalgonda district on Sunday. The girl was returning home from the fields nearby.
Police said the boys were absconding. The girl, 15, is a native of Yellareddy Bavi village in Devarakonda mandal. After her father died three years ago, she along with her mother shifted to her grandmother's house at Kandukur village in Dindi mandal. She is studying in the Government High School in Kandukur. Her mother and grandmother are working as agricultural labourers.
Being Sunday, she along with her grandmother went to the field to collect cotton. They packed the same in a cloth bag and started back home. While her grandmother walked ahead, she was following her with the cotton pack on her head. On the way, a boy studying in first-year Intermediate and his friend, 16, from the same village, waylaid her.
“They dragged her to the nearby bushes. One boy raped her, while another boy helped him by holding her forcefully. ” said Dindi inspector Shekar. The two boys left the girl in the bushes and fled. The girl returnedhome crying and informed her mother about the incident. A rape case under section 376 of IPC and POCSO act were registered. The girl was sent to Nalgonda Area Hospital for medical examination.
