New WhatsApp update for iOS 9.1 users allows quick reply feature

Introduced first in the messaging app on iOS 8, quick reply feature lets a user read and reply to message without opening an app, but by just dragging down the notification and typing a reply there.

All this while, though the Message app had this feature, iPhone users did not enjoy the same feature when messaging via WhatsApp. However, with the latest update, WhatsApp now allows iPhones running iOS 9.1 and above to quick reply via notification centre.

The new update also lets a user reply to incoming WhatsApp calls with a message right from the call notification.

The WhatsApp version 2.12.10 is now available to download via App Store and is about 50MB in size.
