Always thought Aladdin and his magic carpet could never be possible? Well, New Yorkers got the shock of their lives when they saw real-life Aladdin zipping through the streets on what looked like – a magic carpet.

Filmmaker and entrepreneur Casey Neistat collaborated with Pranks vs. Pranks to pull off a Halloween stunt in broad daylight in the city. Clad in Aladdin’s Arabian-themed costume, Neistat amazed onlookers by fluidly snaking through the roads and alleys in the coolest way possible.

Curious about how exactly the ‘magic carpet’ worked? We’ll tell you – actually it was a cloth frame attached to a battery-powered skateboard that could be easily manoeuvred using a remote control. We have to say, Fez off to you guys!
