Google evangelist to attend TiEcon 2015

There will be a startup pavilion which will be a platform for select startups to showcase their ideas, products and processes

Kochi: More than 1,000 delegates comprising entrepreneurs, industry leaders, venture capitalists and decision-makers will converge in Kochi on Friday for a two-day jamboree ‘TiEcon Kerala 2015’.
 
The annual event of TiE Kerala with the theme ‘Driving Entrepreneurship Through Disruption’ will have 100 speakers covering topics such as innovation and disruption, IT-Internet of things, new wave tourism, rise of agripreneur and women in leadership in 40 sessions. Keynote sessions will cover topics including family business, the next-gen entrepreneurs and branding and social media. 
 
According to AV George, president, TiE Kerala, the meet will host the first startup enclave to take place in Kerala. “It will help budding entrepreneurs stay updated with the industry trends and connect to business leaders who can mentor them,” he said.
 
There will be a startup pavilion which will be a platform for select startups to showcase their ideas, products and processes. One-to-one sessions, pitch festival, idea cauldron, seek-a-mentor are also part of the programme.
 
Gopi Kallayil, chief evangelist, brand marketing, Google, will provide budding entrepreneurs a closer view on what drove innovation at Google, on how to build product with the user, how information becomes asset and how to respond to failures.
