On Friday, the newly constructed Metro Station at Koyambedu was bustling with activity. Apart from the regular commuters, there were several camera and lighting units, a few bouncers and a vanity van. A closer look revealed that it was the first day of Sivakarthikeyan’s shoot for the production venture, which is yet to be titled. Though his pair Keerthi Suresh was not spotted, ace lensman PC Sreeram was seen giving instructions to his assistants in the lighting department. Director Bhakkiyaraj Kannan was checking the monitor shots.
Sources said that a few scenes have been planned inside the station. An amount of Rs 4 lakh per day is being paid to shoot inside the Metro Station. Unlike the usual scene where people would throng the venue to get a glimpse of stars, this shooting seemed very quiet. The reason being that one needs to pay for an entry ticket to get inside the station. Anyway, this proved advantageous for the crew, who could shoot the scenes without much disturbance.
