Kovan case: Stalin slams police for attacking media

Chennai: DMK leader M.K. Stalin on Thursday condemned the police for attacking media personnel covering the case related to the arrest of Kovan at Egmore court on Wednesday.
TN seems to be in a state of unannounced emergency, Stalin said on his Facebook page. The police manhandled and assaulted media personnel when they attempted to cover the case. TN is seeing an unprecedented situation where human rights have become non-existent, there is no respect for law or the Constitution, and corruption has reached obscene levels, he alleged.
