Six AIADMK candidates win Kerala civic polls

Chennai: Enthralled by her party’s good show in Kerala civic polls, AIADMK supermo and Chief Minister J. Jayalalithaa on Saturday thanked the voters of Kerala for electing six ward councillors representing her party.

In a statement, Ms Jayalalithaa said the result as a “historic achievement” for the party that has tasted victory in the municipal polls. “I thank the voters in Pallakad and Idukki for electing the AIADMK candidates and of this five are women and this is a double delight for me.”
