Two NRI brothers from Hyderabad indicted in US for allegedly financially supporting al-Qaeda

Hyderabad: Two NRI brothers from Hyderabad were indicted by a United States district court for allegedly providing financial support to Al-Qaeda. One of them, Yahya Farooq Mohammad, 37, had completed his graduation in engineering from Osmania University in late 1999 before leaving for US for further studies.
After his education in the US, Farooq was working for an MNC in Dubai till recently. The FBI had arrested Farooq and his brother Ibrahim Zubair Mohammad along with two others, Asif Ahmed Salim, 35, and his brother Sultane Room Salim, 40 on Thursday.
