Shahid and Mira Kapoor celebrate Dhanteras with friends
The two are now planning to throw a Diwali party for their friends

Mumbai: Shahid and Mira Kapoor are looking forward to celebrate their first Diwali together this year. The two are planning to host an intimate get-together for their close friends and family tomorrow night at their Juhu apartment. Shahid, who has just returned from Sri Lanka from a brief holiday with Mira on Sunday, has been calling his friends to invite them over.
Shahid's parents- Pankaj Kapoor along with wife Supriya and their two children, mother Neelima Azim and younger sibling Ishaan, is expected to join the couple. Mira's family from Delhi is also expected to join them.
The Kapoor family has dual reasons for celebrations - Shahid-Mira's first Diwali as a couple and Sanah's acting debut. Mira has taken it upon herself to host the party and has been doing all the preparations for the party.
Just last night, the newly wed couple celebrated their first Dhanteras together with close friends Masaba Gupta, Madhu Mantena, Ekta Kapoor, Shilpa Shetty among others.

With ‘Shaandaar’ failure now behind him, Shahid will soon join Kangana Ranaut and Saif Ali Khan in the periodic drama ‘Rangoon’.
