Poor climate affects Chandrababu Naidu's tour programme
Naidu reaches Muddanur in Kadapa by road

Anantapur: Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu had to travel by road to reach Muddanur in Kadapa from Kurnool district on Monday due to unfavourable climate. As per schedule, the Chief Minister was to travel by helicopter after setting the foundation stone for Urdu University in Kurnool district.
As part of his visit during 'Project Nidra' programme in Kadapa district, a public meeting was scheduled at Muddanur and the Chief Minister to stay at Haritha guest house in Gandikota. Though, the Chief Minister arrived to Orvakal in Kurnool by helicopter, climate was not favourable to travel to Kadapa due to low pressure in Bay of Bengal.
Mr Naidu reached Muddanur by road and participated in a public meeting. Speaking on the occasion, he announced Rayalaseema districts would be free from clutches of drinking and irrigation water crisis in a year. Referring to historic Gandikota hill, Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu announced to develop it as an international tourist spot. He stayed at Haritha guest house in Gandikota and reviewed status of the ongoing projects in the district.
Officials are still not clear about Tuesday tour as Mr Naidu has to take part in passing out parade of sub-inspectors from the state at Police Training College in Anantapur. Mr Naidu has to leave at 8.15 am from Gandikota and scheduled to reach Anantapur by 8.55 am to take part in POP at 9 am.
