Hyderabad: The fate of land owners who have given their lands for the new capital city Amaravati will be decided by Singapore. Singapore-based Surbana International consultants have taken up the  land pooling scheme for the entire land pooling area including  re-allotment of plots for land owners.

The state government is of the opinion that the land pooling scheme is  also to be seamlessly integrated and needs to be incorporated in the  revised master plan which is being prepared by Surbana Company.
According to this Surbana will decide where the plots should be given to the land owners in the capital city.

The land owners are worried about their plots in the capital area and there are speculations. Some are saying that the owners will get their  ‘return plots’ at the very last point of the capital region where they will have less demand. The officials said only after the submission of revised  master plan and land pooling scheme by Surbana will they be able to tell the exact area where the land owners will get their return plots.
