KOZHIKODE: 13-year old Milan Sidhartha was the star at the ‘Nizhalattam’ short film festival held in Thiruvananthapuram, from October 21 to 25. He was the youngest film director to participate in the fest, with his maiden film, “Dreams-2”.

Sidhartha, an 8th standard student at Memunda higher secondary school in Vadakara, has donned the roles of cameraman, editor, scriptwriter of the film, besides direction.

“The 6-minute film narrates the ordeal of orphaned lives which have been thrown on the streets,” said Sidhartha. Sidhartha made use of his father Zero Babu’s smartphone to shoot and those videos were uploaded on youtube.
