BMRCL will be throwing open Reach 2 to the public on Monday which covers a distance of 6.4 kms

Bengaluru: BMRCL will be throwing open Reach 2 to the public on Monday which covers a distance of 6.4 kms. In the next three months, passengers will be able to travel from Magadi Road to Mysore Road in just 11-12 minutes.

Vasanth Rao, General Manager of BMRCL said, “Initially, it will take 14 minutes at an average speed of 30 kmph and maximum of 60 kmph. After three months, the speed will be increased to 80 kmph and average of 45 kmph.

This will bring down the travel time to 11-12 minutes.” Reach 2 has six stations namely, Magadi Road, Hosahalli, Vijayanagar, Attiguppe, Deepanjali Nagar and Mysore Road. BMRCL also released the fare chart for this stretch. Fares from Magadi Road to Hosahalli is Rs 10; to Vijayanagar is Rs 13; to Attiguppe is Rs 14; to Deepanjali Nagar is Rs 16 and till Mysore Road the fare is priced at Rs 17.
