The pamphlets were distributed by K. Venkatarami Reddy
Hyderabad: The AP Secretariat employees on Thursday published a pamphlet titled Is it right to cheat the employees? to express their dissatisfaction over the shifting of the administration to Vijayawada.
The pamphlets were distributed by K. Venkatarami Reddy, former president of the AP Secretariat Employee’s Housing Society.
The pamphlet question AP Secretariat Employees Union president U. Murali Krishna for affirming that the employees are ready to shift to Vijayawada by June next.
Mr Murali Krishna, during a meeting on November 7 had said that employees have no right to oppose the government’s decision to shift the administration.
Mr Venkatarami Reddy asked Mr Murali Krishna how he could make the announcement without discussing it in the general body meeting.
If the employees have no right to oppose the government’s decision, how did all the employees go on strike against the Centre’s decision on state bifurcation. Also, how can employees be shift to Vijayawada where there proper official and residential accommodation, schools and transport facilities were not available, Mr Venkatarami Reddy asked.
Mr Murali Krishna also said that the pamphlet was issued with an eye on the Secretariat Employees’ Union elections scheduled for March next.
