Itanagar: An unexploded bomb of the 1962 Sino-India war was found at Mechukha in West Siang district of Arunachal Pradesh and it was handed over to the army, an official said on Friday.
Weighing about 3.5 kgs with a circumference of 7.96 cms, the bomb was dug out during excavation at the ongoing construction site of the Advanced Landing Ground (ALG) recently, Colonel R Parthasarathy, Project Manager, ALG, Mechukha, said.
The bomb was handed over to the army, he said.
