Ajith Kumar undergoes surgery, advised complete rest for three months

The actor underwent knee surgery at a private hospital

Mumbai: On Thursday, Tamil superstar Ajith Kumar underwent knee surgery at a private hospital. The actor has been advised to complete bed rest for three months.

The actor was to undergo his surgery on November 24 but it was pre-poned since he couldn’t bear the pain. While shooting for the climax sequence of his Tamil film ‘Vedalam’, the actor faced knee injury.

The surgery started around 7:30 pm and went on till 2:30 am on Friday. After the surgery was complete, the actor was immediately moved to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU). Ajith is now doing fine.

Since the actor has been advised complete bed rest for three months, he may not start working on his next Tamil project until June 2016.
