India most tolerant in world: Mukesh Khanna
He slammed the ongoing protest by people from various sections on growing intolerance

Hyderabad: Actor and chairperson of Children Film Society of India (CFSI) Mukesh Khanna slammed the ongoing protest by people from various sections on 'growing intolerance' in the country. “The opposition is being done just for the sake of opposition,” he said, and emphasized that India was the most tolerant country in the entire world. Khanna praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his 'Make in India' and 'Swachh Bharat' initiatives.
“I have been saying this for the last 10 years that opposition is done here for the sake of opposition, not for the country. We are the most tolerant in the whole world. We have all religions here. Tell me another country where people have these advantages? Don't say we are intolerant. We are tolerant,” Khanna said. Khanna was in Hyderabad in connection with the 19th International Children's Film Festival, which will begin on Saturday.
