‘SHE’ cabs kick off from Rajiv Gandhi International Airport

Hyderabad: The GMR Hyderabad International Airport Limited on Thursday introduced SHE cabs at the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport. GHIAL CEO S.G.K. Kishore and Cyberabad commissioner of police C.V. Anand handed over identity cards to the female drivers and flagged off the SHE cabs at the airport.
As of now, there will be 10 SHE cabs operating from the airport round the clock. Women passengers will be able to book SHE cabs at the traffic police pre-paid booth. Only women passengers or passengers accompanied by at least one woman traveller can book the SHE cabs. The cabs are connected to the police control room through GPS and are equipped with a panic button as a safety feature.
