Veteran film-maker KSG passes away

The Director has directed over 70 films

Chennai: Veteran film-maker, K.S. Gopalakrishnan, who has written and directed over 70 films, mainly in Tamil and Malayalam besides a few Hindi, died here on Saturday evening. He was 86 and is survived by six children.  Known to be a progressive film-maker and popularly known as KSG, he was renowned for both his mythological films (like Aadi Paraksakthi which featured Jayalalithaa in the lead role) and other movies like Karpagam Saradha, Nathaiyil Muthu, Chithi, Panama Pasama among others. He had also produced several films.
