Two yesteryear actresses K.R. Vijaya — who worked with the likes of MGR, Sivaji and many heroes — and one time glam icon Jothilakshmi, are coming back in front of the camera after a gap of many years. But this time around it is for television soaps. While K.R. Vijaya, known for her Amman movies has been lured in to play a prominent devotional character in the horror series Bhairavi, Jothilakshmi who has had a makeover at this age appears as a mysterious stylish grandma in the mega soap Valli. “It is a sensational role and I gave my nod instantly without any hesitation when I was approached,” Jothilakshmi reveals.
