Akshay Kumar creates curiosity around 'Airlift', shares interesting facts about 1990

Mumbai: The trailer for the Akshay Kumar-Nimrat Kaur starrer 'Airlift' is slated to release on Wednesday (November 18, 2015) but the team has started creating curiosity about the upcoming trailer by posting snippets of information.
 
Akshay has been giving away several interesting facts about the time period and region the film has been set in. The film revolves around Akshay who plays the role of Ranjit Katyal, a wealthy and powerful Indian businessman. It is based on real incidents set in 1990 in Kuwait the time of famous Gulf war when Saddam Hussein invaded Kuwait. He is supposed to help evacuate 1,70,000 people from Kuwait to India.
 
The film directed by Raja Krishna Menon is produced by Bhushan Kumar along with Nikhil Advani and Vikram Mehrotra. The film is slated to hit the theaters on January 22 next year.
