Taapsee Pannu
Taapsee Pannu, who was last seen performing daredevil stunts in the Akshay Kumar-starrer Baby, will next be seen in war drama Ghazi, opposite Rana Daggubati. The film revolves around the mysterious sinking of the PNS Ghazi submarine during the India-Pakistan war in 1971.

Although Taapsee and Rana have acted in Baby before, they didn’t have any scenes together so this is essentially their first performance with each other. The film goes on floors in December and will be shot in Hyderabad on a grand set, construction of which is currently underway. It will be shot in Telugu, Tamil and Hindi simultaneously.

Says a source close to Taapsee, “She was intrigued by the subject of the film and read up on it. She is looking forward to the shoot in December now.” While Rana will play a naval officer in the film, Taapsee will be seen portraying the role of a refugee.
