Mumbai: There’s a feature in your iPhone called “Frequent Locations”, which essentially tracks each and every moment you make and maps all your address and locations. Though it can be a very useful feature in order to receive accurate location-based services, or in case your phone or you yourself go missing, you can be tracked with the help of the feature.

However, in case you do wish to disable it, here is how to go about it:

  • Go to Settings, then Privacy and choose Location Services

  • At the bottom of the list of apps using Location services, you will find System Services, where you will see a list of all things your iPhone uses your location for.

  • At the end the System Services list, you will be able to spot Frequent Locations, which when toggled on, shows you a history of your when and wheres.

  • In order to stop your iPhone from tracking your movement, first clear the history of already mapped locations, and then toggle of the Frequent Locations feature.
