Ranji Trophy: Akshath Reddy shines for Hyderabad
Tanmay made 47 runs from the 171 balls, hitting five boundaries

Hyderabad: Openers P. Akshath Reddy and Tanmay Agarwal led Hyderabad’s fightback as they reached 143 for no loss in 55 overs — still trailing by 210 runs — on Day Two of their Group ‘C’ Ranji Trophy match against Services being played in New Delhi on Monday.
Akshath, who was the more aggressive of the two, hit 16 fours during his 89-run knock built in 161 deliveries. The right-hand batsman toyed with the Services bowlers as he found gaps with ease and ran quickly between the wickets.
Tanmay made 47 runs from the 171 balls, hitting five boundaries. Earlier, overnight batsman Soumik Chatterjee (156) added just 21 runs against his name before getting deceived by Ravi Kiran. Khalid Ahmed added 35 to Services’ total of 353 in 124 overs. For Hyderabad, Ravi was the pick of the bowlers with 4/65 while C.V. Milind wasn’t able to add to his three wickets from Day One. Anwar Ahmed Khan (2/71) was the other bowler who impressed.
