Details of land records computerised in Andhra Pradesh
Government has computerised the details of 87 lakh acres of lands
Vijayawada: Revenue minister K.E. Krishna Murthy said that the government was implementing reforms in the revenue department for the first time in the country.
Speaking to media persons here on Tuesday, Mr Krishna Murthy said that the government has computerised the details of 87 lakh acres of lands in the state and people were checking the details through Maa Bhoomi website.
The government also provided loan charge creation module for not submitting the passbooks to banks when applying for loans every time, he added. Already 47 lakh farmers registered their details in the modules, he said and added that the owners could get benefits specifically from this step.
Besides, Mr Krishna-Murthy assured the licenced surveyors of utilising their services in land survey works in the state. In an interaction with licenced surveyors, the minister said that nearly 3,000 surveyors are required for the present needs.
He said that the government would utilise the services pf licenced surveyors first. AP Licenced Surveyors Association state convener Surat Balakrishna and several leaders were also present.
