Ranbir Kapoor and Anurag Basu’s Jagga Jasoos has been in the making for a while now and only 50 per cent of the film is complete. Actor and producer Ranbir, however, is confident of wrapping up the film on time so that it’s ready by the scheduled release in June next year.

“Jagga Jasoos is being made for the past two years and if it doesn’t release, I will be ruined. I am the producer! Hopefully the film should release some time in June next year,” RK says.

There were talks at some point that the makers of the film were to re-shoot some portions of the film. Ranbir clarifies that there is absolutely no truth to the buzz.

“Nothing is being reshot. We have shot 50 per cent and will finish the rest of it between January and March 10 next year.”

Jagga Jasoos is the story of a teenage detective in search of his missing father. Ranbir plays a high school detective with a stammer in the film. He sings when he wants to speak.
