Tattoo artist inks people without them seeing the design
The tattoo recipient is not allowed to see the design until it’s finished
Figuring out the design you want to get tattooed on your body is a huge deal for most people. But some folks were bold enough to venture out in unknown territory by signing up for a project that required them to get their arm inked by a tattoo artist they cannot see and a design that they will find out only after it’s done.
According to a report published in the Bored Panda, famous tattoo artist Scott Campbell sits behind a wall for his cool project named Whole Glory. It involves the volunteer to place his or her arm inside the hole. Then the tattoo artist tattoos that arm without any communication taking place between him and the tattoo recipient. The tattoo recipient is not allowed to see the design until it’s finished.
The unusual installation was organised at New York’s Milk Gallery and involved 25 participants chosen through a lottery system.
