Lenovo Vibe S1 with twin front cameras launched in India
The Vibe S1 is the first smartphone to have two dual front-facing cameras
Mumbai: Lenovo has finally launched the Vibe S1 in India on Monday at an event held in New Delhi. The device will be available exclusively on Amazon from midnight, and will be offered in three colours—pearl white, champagne gold, and midnight blue.
With a price tag of Rs 15,999 and myriad attractive features, the device is all set to spread a positive vibe amongst its users in India.
The handset sports a 5-inch full HD IPS display protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3. At the sides, a metal frame runs sideways across the phone.
At its core, the device is powered by a 1.7Ghz octa-core 64 bit processor coupled with 3GB RAM. Storage capacity is quite good with an internal capacity of 32GB, which can be further extended to 128 GB via microSD card.
The Lenovo Vibe S1 runs on an Android Lollipop OS, which is a surprise as most recent devices are opting for the fresh Marshmallow update.
The 13-megapixel-rear camera along with phase-detection auto focus, and single LED flash clicks decent pictures. Surprisingly, there is another 8-megapixel primary camera on the front camera along with a secondary 2MP camera.
Although the concept of having two dual front cameras seems uncanny, nothing can be said so early. The device supports dual SIM cards, 4G LTE, and is fuelled by a 2,500mAh battery.
