Dayakar on list of biggest Lok Sabha seat winners

His victory margin of 4,59,092 votes is the seventh highest in the country for a Lok Sabha seat

Warangal: With a thumping victory in the Warangal Lok Sabha byelection, Pasunoori Dayakar of the Telangana Rashtra Samiti has vaulted on the list of top 10 people winning Lok Sabha elections with the highest majority.

His victory margin of 4,59,092 votes is the seventh highest in the country for a Lok Sabha seat. Topping the list is the late Gopinath Munde’s daughter Pankaja Munde who contested the Beed constituency and won with a margin of 6.92 lakh votes. Next on the list is Anil Basu who won the Aramgarh constituency in 2004 with 5.92 lakh votes.

Congress leader and former PM P.V. Narasimha Rao won the Nandyal seat by a margin of 5.80 lakh votes in 1991. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is next with 5.7 lakh vote margin, winning the Vadodara seat in the 2014 elections.

Janata Dal leader Ram Vilas Paswan won the Hajipur constituency in UP with 5.04 lakh votes. On Monday Pasunoori Dayakar took the seventh place in the list winning the Warangal constituency with 4.59 lakh votes.
