Lucknow: An Ashtadhatu idol of Goddess Durga, valued at several crores of rupees in the international market, was stolen from a temple in Bansdih area in Ballia district.

The Ashtadhatu idol was stolen from a temple in Kharauni village and an FIR has been lodged in this connection by a local resident Rajesh Singh.
