Visakhapatnam: Met officials on Sunday predicted another low pressure trough forming in the Bay of Bengal, bringing moderate to heavy rain in south coastal AP and Rayalaseema districts over the next two days.

“Under the influence of a trough of low over southeast Bay of Bengal and adjoining south Andaman Sea, a low pressure area would form over southwest and adjoining southeast Bay of Bengal within the next 24 hours,” said a Met official.

While heavy rain is predicted for south coastal AP and Rayalaseema districts, moderate rainfall is on cards for north coastal Andhra Pradesh districts over the next two days. On Sunday, rains occurred at isolated places over Rayalaseema and south coastal Andhra Pradesh.
