Pakistani cyber attackers hack Visakhapatnam’s city traffic police website

Site was restored a few hours after hackers posted objectionable content on it

Visakhapatnam: Hacking the Visakhapatnam traffic police website, some Pakistani cyber attackers posted derogatory pictures of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and threatened to eliminate Hindus from the face of the earth if the killing of Kashmiri youths and atrocities meted out to them are not stopped.

The incident which happened around 2 pm on November 28 came to light on Tuesday. The special branch of police have confirmed the development.

The website was hacked in the midnight of November 28, but was identified and restored back within hours after elimination of the objectionable content.

“The website did not carry any sensitive information so need not to be worried. Special investigation is on to explore the details,” said a special branch official.

Pictures posted in the website showed Narendra Modi in wrong light and also being slapped by shoes.

Images of some mask wearing hackers popped up on the website screen after it was hacked. The hackers have claimed to be the member of Pakistani Cyber Attackers.
