And despite the blows, it has not fallen, but stood upright.
This calamity has brought out the best of this city and its people.
And they were persistent in putting others before oneself.
Religion was no barrier with the people opening their doors for everyone in need.
A diverse metropolitan, but in this terrible time, it has spoken uniformly in the language of humanity.
They know that the only joy that can come in life is by giving.
Perhaps the safety and warmth that it offers is more than anything that one can ask for.
And the goodwill and compassion had no clauses or limitations-- all those suffering were one in their eyes.
Though everyone had to bear the brunt of the floods, there were several who came out in support of others, hand in hand. The affected were together in their hour of distress.

Incessant rains may have shrunk the city's roads and supply chains, but not its heart. Despite trouble, people came out in hoards, to offer whatever help they could.
