LumuLabs’ new light meter for iPhone works like a charm
The device has integrated dual sensors for measuring essential lighting aspects
Mumbai: Lumulabs is back again with the new Lumu Power light meter for iphones, which offers flawlessly sharp exposure and light metering.
The Lumu Power light meter is currently a part of a kickstarter campaign is undoubtedly one of the best portable digital light meters around. The new device has received a lot of upgrades that were not featured by its precursor.
Apart from measuring ambient lights, the small dongle-shaped device is also capable of measuring color temperature, white balance, and flash. This will significantly assist photographers, as they will be able to quickly fetch accurate settings depending on light conditions.
The small device has integrated dual sensors for measuring essential lighting aspects such as ISO, exposure, and ambience light. As the Lumu Power connects via a lighting connector, it will exclusively work with iPhone, iPad, and an iPod touch.

Similar to its precursor, the Lumu Power uses a simple app interface where users are able to determine between photos or videos, and then move forward to light metering settings.
The company claims that the device not only assists photographers, but also architects, and light décor businesses.
The Kickstarter funding target for the device has already been fulfilled and if everything goes according to plan, the device will hopefully be available by June 2016.
