Exclusive: 5 things to look forward to in SRK-Kajol’s new song ‘Janam Janam’

Mumbai: While the response to 'Dilwale' trailer was tremendous across all social media, film's songs 'Gerua' and 'Manma Emotion' found their permanent spot in everyone's heart.

We are pretty much still down with 'Gerua' frenzy and the makers of 'Dilwale' are all set to make our day by releasing yet another beautifully crafted song from the film today. After a romantic track, a peppy dance number, comes a soothing song 'Janam Janam'. Composed by Pritam and crooned by Arijit Singh, the song throws light on the painful rift betweent Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol in 'Dilwale'. While we desperately wait for the song to drop out, here are five things to look forward to in the song. Take a look!

SRK and Kajol

After mesmerizing their fans with a beautifully crafted song ‘Gerua’ from ‘Dilwale’, Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol will yet again are ready to captivate the viewers with a new song titled ‘Janam Janam’ from their upcoming film. The film is all the more special since we are going to see the two reunite on the silver screen after 5 years.

In the song’s glimpse, we see SRK and Kajol, holding an umbrella and completely drenched in rain, recreate Raj Kapoor and Nargis’ magic.

Situation

Unlike the romantic song ‘Gerua’, ‘Janam Janam’ will not see Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol romancing in the song. The new song is not a romantic track but a soulful heart wrenching sad one. The song is high on intensity and emotion. ‘Janam Janam’ circles around SRK and Kajol’s on-going rift and painful problems.

While the film’s trailer didn’t give much away, we are hopefully that the song will surely close the window on SRK and Kajol’s mysterious relationship in the film.

Arijit Singh

After ‘Gerua’, ‘Janam Janam’ is the second song by Arijit Singh in ‘Dilwale’. After witnessing singer’s melodious voice in ‘Gerua’ and seeing him complimented SRK’s personality in the song so brilliantly, we cannot wait to hear the singer croon a soothingly sad melody.

Music

Creating magic with music is not a new thing for Pritam. The music composer has n number of songs to prove that, including ‘Gerua’. Apart from ‘Dilwale’s one of the most loved song, Pritam has also composed SRK and Kajol’s ‘Janam Janam’. Remember the melodious tune you heard in the every end of ‘Dilwale’s trailer and kept wondering which song it was? Well, that’s the ‘Janam Janam’ song.

Sets

A massive set was built for the song. ‘Janam Janam’ is not only soothingly pleasing but is also a visual treat for everyone. We’ll see Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol’s intense chemistry perfectly moulded with enchanting visuals. One of the most loved on-screen pair plus Arijit’s soulful voice plus Pritam’s magical music plus the grand sets, ‘Janam Janam’ is surely going to be epic.
