Hyderabad’s Jaahnavi Sriperambuduru to scale Oz peak

Hyderabad: Young Hyderabad mountaineer Jaahnavi Sriperambuduru is embarking on a new mission — to scale the highest peak in Australia, Mt Kosciuszko.
This is the third leg of the 13-year-old’s ambitious project of climbing the highest peaks of all seven continents.
In her ‘Mission 7 Summit’, she has already climbed Mt Kilimanjaro (5,895 metres high) in Africa and Europe’s Mt Elbrus (5,642 metres high).
In Australia, Jaahnavi will also take part in the ‘Aussie 10 Peaks’ challenge wherein she will attempt to summit all 10 peaks of the Snowy Mountains in a period of just four days.
If successful, Jaahnavi will set a unique record by becoing the youngest girl from India to accomplish such a feat.
