Development remains Modi Government's sole agenda: Venkaiah Naidu
Naidu also attacked Congress over negligence in the past
Vijayawada: Stating that development is Narendra Modi Government's lone agenda, Union Minister and BJP leader M Venkaiah Naidu on Saturday aid those attacking it in the name of "intolerance" were actually hurting the image of the country.
"Those attacking the NDA Government in the name of "intolerance" are actually hurting the image and standing of the country," he said.
Speaking at a foundation stone laying ceremony for a fly-over, Naidu attacked Congress over some important events of the past.
Recalling the imposition of Emergency (1975-77) in the country and massacre of Sikhs in Delhi in 1984, the former BJP President said those who were at the helm of affairs then, are now preaching morals.
The agenda of the Modi Government is development alone, the Union Minister maintained.
