Hyderabad: The Joint Action Committee of Power utilities relieved employees leader N. Giridhar and Surendra said the Supreme Court has posted the case filed by AP government to December 10. When the case came up for hearing on December 5, the apex court said it will not interfere with the case as of now as the High Court had stated that it will give its final judgement in this case on December 8.

It may be mentioned that 1,253 employees working in power utilities were relieved by Telangana State government on the basis of nativity. However, the employees challenged the TS government orders and High Court in ins interim orders asked AP and TS governments to give salaries to the employees on 58.32 and 41.68 ratio basis.

Meanwhile, the TS  government too has decided to file a PIL in Supreme Court against the AP government's contention that nativity should not be considered. The JAC leaders will meet Chief Ministers of both TS and AP and seek for amicable settlement of the issue after the court orders.
