Mumbai: The Censor Board of Film Certification is often in news for censoring anything remotely associated with sex, drugs or basic freedom of speech. Hence, it was no surprise when ‘Angry Indian Goddesses’ managed to offend the CBFC.
Pan Nalin's charmingly lively film powered by peppy performances has garnered an overwhelming response. The film was praised for looking into a society which is festering from within. Several words and sequences were blurred and omitted by the Censor Board. However, as promised, ‘Angry Indian Goddesses’ have made available on their Facebook page, all the uncensored scenes- all the dangerously offensive words that were beeped out in the theatres.
