Caprus to set up aviation hub in Hyderabad

City-based IT solutions provider Caprus IT plans to hire over 700 employees in over a year while several merger and acquisition are in te pipeline.

Hyderabad: City-based IT solutions provider Caprus IT plans to hire over 700 employees in over a year while several merger and acquisition are in te pipeline. Speaking on the sidelines after inaugurating its facility here on Wednesday, the company’s founder and chairman Dinakara Nagalla said, “We plan to expand in India and in line with this, we will be expanding our headcount to 1,000 from the current 250 in tye next 18 months. Also, we are looking at acquisitions, though nothing has frucified.”

The 13,000 sq feet facility came up at an invetsment of Rs 5 crore and the company will invest another $5 million in M&As this fiscal. EmpowerMX, an arm of Nagalla Financial Group, of which Caprus IT is a part, plans to set up an aviation hub in T-hub.

The chairman will be meeting IT minister K.T. Rama Rao in this regard. “Our services in major aviation segments including MRO etc. can help reduce operational costs by 10-12 per cent,” he said, while adding that they are in talks with Indigo for usage of their products and services.

The Telangana government has recently launched an aerospace incubation centre at T-Hub in the city as it wants to promote defence and aerospace industry in the city. Hyderabad has already become a key aerospace manufacturing destination, due to the presence of both public and private sector companies operating in the city.
