Epam systems buys Alliance for $50 million

The acquisition is valued at $50 million which is approximately Rs 335 crore.

Hyderabad: Product development and software engineering solutions provider EPAM Systems Inc. on Thursday announced the acquisition of Alliance Global Services, a software product development services and test automation solutions firm. The acquisition is valued at $50 million which is approximately Rs 335 crore. 
 
The Alliance Global Services which currently has centres in Hyderabad and Pune employs over 1,100 engineers, testers and designers and has clients in life science and healthcare, insurance, information and media, and software and high tech verticals. Meanwhile, EPAM reported $730 million revenue in 2014 and through this acquisition, it is expecting a year-on-year revenue of $900 million in 2015.
