Hyderabad: A complaint was lodged on Thursday with Jubilee Hills police against Eider Motors alleging that the MD of the company had cheated the complainant in the guise of allotting a two wheeler distributorship. Mr Vasudeva Rao, a businessman from Madhapur, lodged the complaint.

According to the police, Eider Motors had opened a showroom on Road no 35 of Jubilee Hills and had announced that it would allot two wheeler distributorships to interested parties.

Mr Vasudeva Reddy paid Rs 21 lakh to the company representative Mr Shiva Kumar and signed an agreement for distributorship. But since then, there was no response from the company and the amount was not refunded.

“We have received the complaint. Based on the investigation, we will take action,” said the Jubilee Hills police.
