Winter? Mercury at 35 degree Celsius in Hyderabad

On Friday, the city recorded 33ºC and the forecast for Sunday is 35ºC.

Hyderabad: It was an unusually warm Saturday with the maximum temperature climbing to 35º Celsius in the city. This is 3ºC to 4ºC above the normal temperature during the winter but not abnormal according to meteorological experts.

The previous high was In December 2012, when the maximum temperature was recorded at 34.2ºC . Assistant director M. Narasimha Rao of the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) said that the rise in temperature was caused by the southeasterly winds.
